I've been a corporate finance lawyer, an officer/director of space exploration advocacy organizations, a testprep program developer and teacher, and a host of other things along the way. Right now, I'm a full-time graduate student, and a very busy one!

The personal stuff I post is a mixture of wingeing about school, science fiction fandom, and randomness. My academic interests focus on the social construction of identity and emergent politics and culture within virtual worlds. You can find my academic blog at Avatar|Anima.
